What does this mean?
The “Power of 10” is the concept used by many companies that encourage you to reach out to your direct friend/family circle and enlist their help with a cause. If we can get people to join with 10 of their friends to help us raise funds, we could even raise MORE than we would have with a physical event!

What do we need to do?
Spread the word and raise funds! You can do these two things however you want to. Maybe you want to have a virtual dance-a-thon where your friends can tune in and donate to you. Maybe you want to host a bake sale or yard sale. Maybe you all decide to part ways with some of those designer purses gathering dust via EBAY.
The point is, we want to see your creativity and if “spreading the word” is just using your social media to your advantage, so be it! We just want to hit our goal of $21,000 in 2021.
How do we make the donations for the team?
Easier than ever before, go to our OneCause site and donate to your team! Don’t see a team you want to donate to? Start your own! These donations automatically count towards the leaderboard and you could be our 2021 TOP TEAM!
Note: You don’t need to join a team to make a donation, but by joining, you can help your team complete additional challenges that score even more points!
What if someone I know says they made a donation already?
If you know someone who made a donation through our website instead of on your team page, you can still get it to count for your team if you send the following details to shoulakbreastfest@gmail.com :

Do we need to have all donations in by BreastFest on 09/25?
You can start accepting donations on your team page as soon as you register and your community will be able to donate until the end of September (11:59pm on September 30th). However, if you get donations in before the festival, you might hear a shout-out during our live-stream Virtual Festival on Saturday, September 25th from 2-6pm CST!
What’s in it for us if we donate a lot of money?
Well, I’m not sure we’ve received this question phrased quite this way, but there’s a lot of benefits/perks of setting up a fund raising team! (1) You get to share the camaraderie with your team, picking a fun team name and possibly sporting some fun team-gear/costumes and (2) there will be prizes for the top teams leading up to the festival (top at the end of June, top at the end of July, and top by date of BreastFest). After the festival there will even be a TOTAL TOP TEAM in case some were still raising on the day of the festival.
